WE ALREADY HAVE THE NEW TEST SUITABLE FOR TRAVELING!

For more than a year, we have experienced a difficult situation around the world. The Covid-19 has limited us in many aspects, one of them, the celebration of events. Last year, many had to be postponed or canceled and, to avoid this, we offer you antigen tests for your events.

ID NOW™ COVID-19

SARS-COV-2 EN 13 MINUTES OR LESS*

The ID NOW ™ platform combines the advantages of speed and precision to obtain the fastest molecular results on the market.

The ID NOW ™ COVID-19 test produces positive results in 13 minutes or less, allowing immediate treatment decisions to be made during the patient’s first visit.

At A3 Huércal Overa Polyclinic we offer you the most widely used coronavirus test recommended by the WHO.

This test is performed through the upper respiratory tract (nasopharyngeal and oropharyngeal exudate) using the nasopharyngeal swab technique, in which a sample is collected from the throat behind the nose, containing a mixture of mucosa and saliva, to evaluate the presence or absence of the SARS-CoV-2 genome.

Rt-PCR and equivalent nucleic acid detection tests are currently considered the most accurate way to determine whether a person is a carrier of SARS-CoV-2.

A positive result indicates that the virus genome is present.

RAPID TEST OF NASOPHARYNGEAL ANTIGENS

  • With the same reliability as PCRs, in 10 minutes they are able to diagnose the virus from the beginning of the infection.

  • They are called to become the perfect complement to PCR tests: simpler, cheaper and in just a few minutes.

It is a one-step immunochromatographic test for the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 antigen (nucleoprotein) in respiratory samples from patients suspected of Covid-19 infection.

This rapid test represents a valuable alternative in the context of a global shortage of diagnostic tests and allows obtaining results quickly and reliably, in a large population group.

Rapid coronavirus detection test in Almería

Characteristics and conditions of the service.

The IgG / IgM antibody test is an excellent method of detection in patients suspected of COVID-19 infection, along with the PCR test for confirmation. It is done with a capillary blood sample through a finger prick.

The rapid IgG IgM detection test is useful to detect asymptomatic carrier patients in just 15 minutes, and thus prevent transmission.

In asymptomatic people, the test may be negative, although in later days the result may be positive. It does not detect COVID, if not the antibodies that the body synthesizes as a defense. The value is positive when the infection has already been established.

At all times the test will be supervised by the health personnel of our medical center and in accordance with current legislation, complying with all the required safety guarantees.

The provision of this service may be conditioned by the availability of the tests as well as by other factors, before which A3 Polyclinic reserves the right to cancel the service, committing to return to the requesting company all the amounts paid as a reservation I pay.

A positive result in IgM, with a negative IgG indicates a high probability of being in an early stage of the infection.

If both antibodies are positive, there is a high probability that the infection is in the active phase or in full evolution.

If there is a negative result for IgM, but positive for IgG, there is a high probability of having passed the infection.

Limitations of the rapid test coronavirus.

If the test result is negative and symptoms persist, other clinical methods are recommended.

The rapid test for detection of IgG and IgM antibodies has a sensitivity of approximately 70% between days 4-10 and greater than 90% from day 11 of the disease. The specificity ranges from 90 to 100%.

A negative test result does not exclude the possibility of SARS COV2 infection.
